Project summary

As Coordinator of the working package “Geostatistic analysis tools” (JRA4), the GHER has the following targets in the SeaDataNet consortium :

1. Adaptation and extension of the Variational Inverse Model (methodology and software) of ULg (DIVA software), to prepare gridded data from the new data types released, for co-processing remote sensing and in-situ data, and for the different regional data checking requirements.
2. Organisation of regular user workshops for capacity building, software diffusion and improvements (DIVA workshops)
3. Collaboration with the team of the Ocean Data View software, for an interfacing of ODV and DIVA
